The Port Nikau town centre is situated adjacent to the main marina and has provision in the development plans for 6,000m2 of retail, hospitality and commercial activity, designed to support the Port Nikau community.

Port Nikau Town Centre

The Port Nikau Development Plan includes a bespoke town centre, designed to offer everyday services to Port Nikau residents, such as groceries and cafes, personal care and retail. The town centre will support the day-to-day needs of those living at Port Nikau, as well as offer amenities for the wider Whangārei community, such as the Tide Restaurant, now open on Port Road.
